I had started to grow quite disenchanted when it came to the idea of finding a guild pre-release with the state of Rift's official forums at the moment but then I stumbled upon you lovely lot. However, enough of the shameless bum-licking...

My name's Craig, I'm 26 and I'm from London *peers around eagerly looking for a game-show style cheer from other Londoners* ...

I work in advertising/marketing and have recently discovered that in seven months time I'll be a dad. Yes! Through the conventional means of pregnancy! And they said I'd never do it... pah! *Ahem.*

I've been playing MMO's from the early 2000's and I won't bore you with a long list of acronyms but I've played in pretty much every major release since EQ1. I've actively participated in both raiding and pvp (casual and unfortunately hardcore) as well as more recently a stint at roleplaying.

With work commitments and a family on the horizon *poo's pants* I'm looking for a friendly place where... #where everybody knows your name#... and takes the game at a nice casual pace and enjoys the laughs along the way.

I'm currently playing Defiant in beta as to not spoil anything on the Guardian side but I have decided that I'll be playing a healer. My current soul combination is yet to be determined I'm planning on going for a pure healer instead of one of these "I'll hit you with my hammer and heal when I'm dead" types... although for levelling purposes that may change

If accepted I'll roll my Guardian (likely a Dwarf) tonight and I'll break my vow of... umm... not seeing the Guardian side until release?... Yeah.
