My name is Ross, i'm 26 and been playing mmos since EQ1.

I came across an old m8 in beta 4 called Tomsk that we played on eq together and found out sinaz and his misses is also playing rift, that i better post an app on the website. I heard good things from tomsk about the guild from vanguard and rift, i was gonna put in an app when i was playing vanguard but didnt have the chance due real life curcumstances i had to leave the game.

On about rift, I play Raikkonen and around lvl 12 atm, hoping to play a mage Dominator/Stormcaller/Necromancer but i might change the last one to elementalist or healing as i came into the game on beta 3.

anyways i hope that enough of me, any questions i will probably be on the beta.

avit and naz has pre ordered the game and i think julce might also... it's what they have said on the af website anyways, i think there trying to get the old members for eq next whenever that comes out probably in afew years.

Dug out Avit's old email address and poked him via that as I can't seem to use the old AF site.

He says he was gonna go Defiant but is likely to pop on and seewhat we're about in next Beta. He mentioned EQ next was their next 'real' target. If I'm still happy rifting I won't swap games for the sake of it, and I do wonder how good EQ next will be and how much it will just live of nostalgia and EQ's impressive legacy.

Daedalus and Ancient Flame have been the best times I've had in mmorpgs be nice to see a few of the old guys in green again.

aye tomsk its in the back of my head also but we will see what happens, atm im gonna be playing rift as im enjoying it and its good fun. can't believe avit will go defiant need to work on getting him as a guardian and in the guild
