On the Login Form it saws "Hi Faeli" and gives me the option to logout so don't know what is going on.

I had a similar problem, see my post in this section.
In the end I had to delete all cookies for daedalusguild.me.uk, shutdown all browser windows, and then start them up.
Not sure it will help you but it's worth a try.
Also use the "Delete all board cookies" link on the Board Index page.
